Celebrate National Jazz Month here at the library with Chicago-area jazz pianist, Chris White, a talented musical artist who has performed in some of Chicago's top clubs.

Originally from Toronto, Chris White has been a rock-solid presence in the Chicago jazz community since his arrival in 2000. His performance credits include the Chicago Jazz Festival, The Jazz Showcase, the Green Mill and Andy's Jazz Club, among others. Chris is an in-demand educator as well, teaching piano, theory and ensembles at Lake Forest College, North Park University and North Central College. He is also well known for his trio's crowd-pleasing performances of Vince Guaraldi's "Charlie Brown Christmas" album. This evening, Chris will entertain us with a concert of popular jazz favorites.
