Mark Bramstedt is a very experienced soil scientist and a terrific presenter. He will make sure we have the basic understandings we need to appreciate the important role of healthy soil.

The soil basics he will address include what soil comprises, how it is formed, how and why soils differ, plus signs of healthy soil.

This 4-part series is part of the Start in Your Yard Initiative, provided by the Wild Ones of Greater Kane County & the Elgin Sustainability Commission.
