After nearly 40 years of working in the field of environmental conservation, John Rogner reflects on the gains that have been made, and imagines how these may project into the future. Please register

John retired in 2023 from his post as the assistant director of the IDNR  (Illinois Department of Natural Resources) after a long and fulfilling career with both the Army Corps of Engineers and the Fish and Wildlife Service. These posts, as well as his 10-year term as chairman of the Chicago Wilderness Alliance, provide a rich context for his cogent reflections on where we’ve been and where we hope to go.

Program is provided by the Wild Ones Greater Kane County Chapter.
