May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a good time to consider what defines individual success. Presenter Robert Lundin will share fascinating human stories of resilience, courage and triumph.
Success is often defined as having a great job, lots of money, a lovely home, publicity and fame. These tangible achievements are recognized and celebrated in our culture. However, for many individuals, true success lies in the invisible victories that often go unnoticed. These may include recovery from mental illness or physical disability, racism, sexism, or surviving a traumatic experience. Presenter Bob Lundin is a former reporter for the Chicago Tribune and member of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Chicago. Lundin will explore the concept of visible and invisible success and share human stories of resilience, courage and triumph, including his own.
