En este curso de 6 semanas las personas con diabetes o prediabetes, y sus familiares, recibirán herramientas para una mejor vida. Taller facilitado en español por el Advocate Sherman Hospital.

En este taller facilitado por el Advocate Sherman Hospital usted:

• Hablará con médicos, dietistas, y otros proveedores de atención médica de Sherman

• Determinará sus propios objetivos y realizará un plan paso a paso para mejorar su salud y su vida

• Encontrará formas prácticas de lidiar con el dolor y la fatiga

•  Descubrirá mejores elecciones de nutrición

•  Aprenderá formas de comunicarse con su médico y su familia con respecto a su salud

•  Recibirá materiales para manejar mejor su diabetes

• Aprenderá a buscar y encontrar recursos en línea y en la biblioteca

 

In this 6-week course people with diabetes or prediabetes, and their families, will receive tools for a better life. Workshop facilitated in Spanish by the Advocate Sherman Hospital. 

 

In this workshop facilitated by the Advocate Sherman Hospital you:

• Will talk to doctors, dietitians, and other Sherman health care providers

• Determine your own goals and make a step-by-step plan to improve your health and life

• Find practical ways to deal with pain and fatigue

•  Discover better nutrition choices

•  Learn ways to communicate with your doctor and family about your health

•  Receive materials to better manage your diabetes

• Learn to search and find resources online and in the library
