Come learn from the Kane County Forest Preserve Naturalist about how local animals survive the winter months.
"You don’t need to travel to the local zoo to find interesting animals. Using artifacts like furs, skulls, skeletons, shells and molts, we showcase the wide variety of wildlife that lives right here, in our own region. We will learn about the survival strategies animals use to survive our harsh Midwestern winters, and understand why certain animals migrate, hibernate or stay active during cold weather."
