Hojalata is a form of Mexican folk art where beautiful designs are created on tin. Let's combine fantastical alebrijes with this art style and create something fun. Registration required.

**NOTE: Please register separately for each child planning to attend this program.**

Everyone can be creative, and designing folk art is a great way to create. Celebrate Hispanic Heritage month by learning about both the Mexican folk art of hojalata and mystical alebrijes as we combine the two into a spectacular tin art project.

This program has supplies to be picked up at the KidSpace Youth Reference Desk at the Main Branch, 270 N. Grove Ave, Elgin. Program supplies will be ready for pick up between Monday, Oct. 9th and Sunday, Oct. 15th.  All registered participants will receive an email with the Zoom login prior to the program date. If you would like to pick up the supplies at the Main Library Drive-Up Window instead of inside the library at the Youth Desk, please call the youth desk at 847-429-4685 at least one hour before arriving at the library.
