Kids Explore: Chihuly & His World of Glass

In-Person, Grades K-5

Dale Chihuly is best known for his blown glass sculptures that can be found inside and outside all around the world. Let's learn about Chihuly & make macchia art together. Registration required.

Join Ms. Carrie to learn about the artist Dale Chihuly (who makes 3D blown glass sculptures) and make a macchia (which is an Italian word for "spot") art project together. 

Please note:  Macchia projects will need to be left at library to dry.  Participants will be alerted by email when they are ready for pick-up.  If you are attending Kids Explore: Northern Lights the following Thursday you can pick up the project then.

If you are unable to attend the event, please cancel your registration so a student on the waitlist can join the event.  We will be taking attendance at the programs and staff members reserve the right to move a registrant to the waitlist if they are found to be consistently absent from registered programs.
