Millikin University’s School of Music is pleased to present the 2023 Hollis Prize Winner’s Recital. This year’s winner is pianist, Risako Hida, a sophomore exchange student from Tokyo, Japan. R

Risako Hida currently majors in Music at Millikin University under the tutelage of Dr. Pei-I Wang on piano.

Risako was a winner at the Millikin Decatur Symphony Orchestra Concerto/Aria
Competition this year and performed Mozart’s Piano Concerto
No. 23, I. Allegro assai at MDSO’s Masterworks III concert
in March 2023 under the direction of conductor Dr. William McClain.
