The keynote speaker will be Frank Kros, MSW, JD.

Mr. Kros is a career child advocate who has served as a childcare worker, child abuse investigator, children’s home administrator, consultant, professor, attorney, writer, and speaker.

Poverty often hinders the brain’s ability to grow and function optimally. Mr. Kros will share how poverty significantly impacts the developing brains of our young learners. We will learn the specific impact of poverty on the developing brain and the interventions that effectively counter poverty’s effects.
