Petite Picasso Family Art Contest

We have two spare kits available!

Create a 4x4 canvas with your family using paint, paper, markers, etc. & bring it back to the library by July 13th for our tiny art show. One lucky entry will win a prize! Registration required.

**We have 2 kits left!  Please read below and register if you would like to participate!! After registering, you will receive an email letting you know that your kit is ready for pickup!**

Have you ever wanted your art displayed in an art show?  Now is your chance!  Register to enter our "Petite Picasso" Family Art Contest and pick up an idea sheet and mini 4x4 canvas that you can decorate however you please.  Will you use paint, stickers, collage papers, recycled materials... or maybe all of these?

Here are the details about the event: 

-This is a craft kit; there is no program or Zoom associated with this event. 

-Your family can decorate your canvas however you choose, but you will need to provide the necessary supplies (paints, paper, stickes, ribbon, etc.).  The library will provide the canvas and an idea sheet. 

-After you have finished your work of art, return it to the library for the art show.  Completed canvases must by returned by no later than Wednesday, July 13th.  

-Patrons will be able to vote for their favorite mini canvas starting Monday, July 18th through Friday, July 29th.  Come back and vote!

-Participants can pick up their artwork starting Monday, August 1st.  At pick-up, all participants will receive a mini easel for displaying their artwork.  All canvases need to be picked up by Saturday, August 13th. 

-Winner will be announced the week of Monday, August 1st.
