Alebrijes are colorful Mexican folk art statues of fantastical creatures. Let's explore this art form and make an alebrije of our own. Registration required.

**NOTE:  Please register separately for each child planning to attend this program.**

What is brightly colored, has lots of patterns, and is part dog, butterfly, and scorpion?  An alebrije, of course! Let's explore these fantastical Mexican folk art creations and create a Shrinky Dink version of our own.

Grove Ave., Elgin.  Program supplies will be ready for pick up between Monday, September 12 through Sunday, September, 18th. **Kit is a paper packet.**  All registered participants will receive an email with the Zoom login prior to the program date.  If you would like to pick up the supplies at the Main Library Drive-Up Window instead of inside the library at the Youth Desk, please call the desk at 847-429-4685 at least one hour before arriving at the library.
