Splashing, sunning & reading- what could be better? Let's do some fun summer crafts too! Pick up your kit/guide to enjoy summer books and activities with your family at home. Registration required.

**NOTE:  Kits contain supplies for 1 of each craft.  If you have multiple children in your family, please register each child separately.**

When you are finished with a day of swimming, picnics, bike riding, and all other types of summer fun, it is a great time to grab some books and create some fun crafts, snacks and games together with your family. (Note:  This is NOT a Zoom meeting event.) We've prepared a Book Party Plan suggesting some fun summertime books to share along with related activities that your family will love during the dog days of summer.

This program has supplies to be picked up at the KidSpace Youth Reference Desk at the Main Library (270 N. Grove Ave, Elgin). Program supplies will be ready for pick up between Monday, June 13th through Friday, June 24th.  The kit will include the basic materials for the suggested craft projects.  You will need to secure the ingredients for the snack ideas as well as some general crafting items listed below.  Best for families with children in K-5th grade.

If you would like to pick up the supplies at the Main Library Drive Up Window instead of inside the library at the Youth Desk, please call the Youth Desk at 847-429-4685 before arriving at the library.
