Get into the spirit of springtime with a fun Family Book Club! (Note:  This is NOT a Zoom meeting event.) We've prepared a Book Party Plan (click link) suggesting some springy books to share along with related activities and crafts that you can do to leave winter behind!

This program has supplies to be picked up at the Main Library (270 N. Grove Ave, Elgin). If the library is open to the public, you will need to pick up the supplies at the Youth Reference Desk unless you call and request that kit be placed in the Drive-Up window. Please call the youth desk at 847-429-4685 before you arrive to the library.  If the library remains closed, kits will automatically be available at the Drive-Up.  Program supplies will be ready for pick up between March 15-March 21.  The kit will include some of the materials for the suggested craft projects.  You will need to secure the ingredients for the snack ideas and basic crafting supplies listed below.  Best for families with children in K-5th grade.
