Join us in celebrating 15 years of Black History Family Festival with Elgin Poet Laureate Chasity Gunn, music by Accidentally on Purpose featuring TJ Ptak, Future African American Leaders, crafts, stories, spoken word artists, voter registration, Larkin High School Black History Club, Mama Lee's Poptastic popcorn and more. Hosted by Black History Family Festival Committee and Gail Borden Public Library in partnership with Elgin Community College, City of Elgin, Elgin Symphony Orchestra, School District U-46, and The Links, Incorporated Hoffman Estates Chapter.
