Lawyer in the Library

Are you trying to muddle through the legal maze yourself? Visit this walk-in service to assist you with your legal questions. In partnership with the Kane County Law Library & Self Help Legal Center.

Volunteer attorneys will provide legal coaching, document review, and referrals to other community services. Bring paperwork that relates to your legal issues. Your meeting with the lawyer will last approximately 15 minutes. A Law Librarian and an Illinois JusticeCorps Fellow will be available to guide you through resources and assist you with e-filing your court documents. No registration.
