Armchair General Bill Lax concludes a two-part series on Sherman's march through the Carolinas in 1865. Part 2 picks up where Part 1 ends. In Part 2, Bill details the convoluted and controversial surrender negotiations between Sherman and Johnson and the acrimonious aftermath that nearly ends the Union General's military career. Part 2 of 2.
