Reggaetón Dance Workshop

Taller de Baile de Reggaetón

Wrap up Hispanic Heritage Month with an evening of music, movement, and community. Learn the fundamentals of reggaetón in a fun, welcoming environment led by a local instructor.

This bilingual workshop will be offered in both English and Spanish.

Originating in Puerto Rico during the 1990s, reggaetón blends influences from reggae en español, hip-hop, dancehall, and Latin rhythms. Today, it has become one of the most influential and globally recognized genres of Latin music. Participants will learn basic dance steps, build confidence on the dance floor, and celebrate the rich cultural impact of reggaetón.

No dance experience or partner is required.
