12:00pm - 2:00pm
Main Library
Studio 270 Digital Media LabExplore the basics of audio creation in this hands‑on beginner camp designed for students in grades 6–12.
Over five days, participants will learn how to use microphones effectively, record and edit sound, and create projects in GarageBand and Logic Pro X. Campers will experiment with mixing, sound design, and simple production techniques while building confidence through daily guided projects. No experience needed—just curiosity and creativity!
Space is limited, so registration is required. Participants are expected to attend all five sessions in order to get the most out of the experience. Students in grades 6–8 who attend all three camps will gain Digital Media Lab (DML) access privileges, which include a limited‑use library card if they do not already have one, limited DML access for one school year (normally available only to high school teens), a one‑year access button pin valid from Summer 2026 through Spring 2027, and the ability to bring one guest to each session.
