Summer Reading Kickoff with Science Heroes

It's time for summer reading and the Science Heroes need YOUR help to find the missing color! Registration required.

What time is it? It's Summer Reading time! We will be starting our Summer Reading Kickoff with the Science Heroes show from 3:00-3:45pm. They will be taking us on the Adventure of the Missing Color! This show is best for grades K-5 and will require registration. Please register each person who will be attending the program.

Immediately following the show, you can sign up for our summer reading challenge at our summer reading booth in KidSpace and enjoy more fun activities and crafts going along with our summer reading theme--"Plant A Seed, Read!" You won't want to miss this vibrant and blooming good time!

If you are unable to attend the program, please call 847-429-4685. This allows others on the watlist to attend with adequate notice. We will be taking attendance at the programs, and staff members reserve the right to move a registrant to the waitlist if they are found to be consistently absent from programs.

Family Technology Prize Drawing: Adults may enter to win an Amazon device for a child in their life while attending this event thanks to a generous donation by Promac, Inc. and Amazon. Limit one entry per customer per event. Must be GBPL cardholder and show proof of checkout within the last 7 days to receive a chance to enter the drawing.
