Exploring books- one title at a time! Join Ms. Carrie to explore the Quix series "Our Principal." We'll read a selection from the spider edition & do some 8-legged activities. Registration required.

Important notes:  Registration for this program starts February 15, 2026. Please register each child SEPARATELY. 

What would you do if a mysterious stranger turned your school's principal into a SPIDER? Roger, Hector and Nancy are on a quest to save their principal and others at their school, PS 88, from the devious Mr. Araknid. Join Ms. Carrie to read a selection from this book and do some "webtacular" activities... including making racing spiders. This is a ONE HOUR program running from 4-5pm. 

Please note: This program will take place in the Story Room (the door with the "book windows" in the KidSpace hallway).

For a list of possible book titles that we may use in the program, click here. 

If you register but later are unable to attend the event, please call 847-429-4685 to cancel as soon as possible.  This allows children on the wait list to join the event with adequate notice. We will be taking attendance at the program, and staff members reserve the right to move a registrant to the wait list if they are found to be consistently absent from programs.
