Have you ever visited a place where sticky, black tar oozes up from the ground? This happens at the La Brea Tar Pits in Los Angeles, California. Over thousands of years, animals got stuck in the tar and their bones were preserved, making this a great place to learn about Ice Age critters that lived long ago. Let's read about this crazy living museum and make Ice Age shadow puppets.
Please note: This program will take place in the Story Room (the door with the "book windows" in the KidSpace hallway).
