Una iniciativa de la Illinois Legislative Latino Caucus Foundation que honra a héroes comunitarios. Los avatares en exhibición, ubicados en las vitrinas de esta sección de la biblioteca, fueron creados por miembros de nuestras comunidades que han sido reconocidos por su impacto positivo, muchas veces silencioso, pero profundamente transformador. Son personas reales, con historias reales, que demuestran que el heroísmo vive en lo cotidiano. 
Esta inauguración es una celebración de nuestras raíces, nuestras voces y el poder de las historias para construir comunidad. ¡No te la pierdas! 

Grand Opening Our Heroes Our Stories Exhibition 

Join us for the exciting official opening of the inspiring exhibition 'Our Heroes, Our Stories' presented in both English and Spanish

An initiative by the Illinois Legislative Latino Caucus Foundation, this exhibition honors community heroes. The avatars on display, located in the showcases in this section of the library, were created by members of our communities who have been recognized for their positive impact, often quiet, but deeply transformative. They are real people with real stories, showing that heroism lives in the everyday.This opening is a celebration of our roots, our voices, and the power of stories to build community. Presented in both English and Spanish. Don’t miss it!
