Cuidando el pasado- Ven y únete a este taller, donde aprenderás sobre los cuidados para conservar tus objetos familiares, tendremos comida para todos los participantes. Presentado en español.

En este taller gratuito aprenderás como usar objetos familiares como puertas para contar historias, también aprenderás sobre los cuidados para conservar fotografías personales, negativos, documentos, textiles, historias orales y materiales digitales. Te contaremos más sobre el misterio de las Cabezas Olmecas. Este será un espacio para discutir cómo el Museo de Historia de Chicago puede mejorar en preservar las historias latinas y locales. En colaboración con el Museo de Historia de Chicago.

Workshops: Preserving Heirlooms and Histories- Care and Conservation of Family Items and Their History

Caring for the Past- Join us for this workshop, with refreshments and activities for children. Presented in Spanish.

In this free workshop, you will learn about the care and conservation of personal photographs, negatives, documents, textiles, oral histories, and digital materials. It's also a space to discuss how the Chicago History Museum can improve preserving Latinx and local histories. In collaboration with the Chicago History Museum.
