Participa en nuestro taller de poesía para adquirir las habilidades para crear tu propia historia sobre tu experiencia como primera generación. Presentación en español e inglés.

Tendremos como invitada a la poeta Fermina Ponce. Fermina trabaja con NAMI KDK (National Alliance on Mental Illness) como coordinadora de programas en español, a través de su conocimiento en este tema, nos dará las técnicas para escribir poesía dónde podrás plasmar tu propia historia.   

Forging Your Way- Bilingual Poetry Workshop for First Generation

Participate in our poetry workshop to acquire the skills to create your own story about your experience as a first generation. Presentation in Spanish and English.  

For this workshop, we will have poet Fermina Ponce as a guest. Fermina works with NAMI KDK (National Alliance on Mental Illness) as coordinator of programs in Spanish. Through her knowledge in this subject, she will give us the techniques to write poetry where you can express your own story.
