May is Mental Health Awareness Month! Please join us for a special reception featuring Elgin's Awakenings Art Project. The group supports and showcases the work of artists in mental health recovery.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month--the perfect time to recognize the healing power of creativity! Take part in a special art reception featuring the Awakenings Project of Elgin. The group's mission is to foster, advance, support and showcase the creative efforts of artists in recovery from mental health challenges. The afternoon will highlight the arts of different forms--paintings, multi-media work, music and spoken word. Light refreshments will be served.
