Ven y participa en la serie de talleres comunitarios sobre cómo votar y la importancia del voto.

Los talleres comunitarios serán ofrecidos en tres diferentes fechas. Escoge la fecha más conveniente para ti.

Actividades incluidas en el taller: 

  • Demostraciones interactivas de votación 

        En este taller tendremos facilitadores haciendo demostraciones prácticas sobre cómo usar las máquinas de votación y otros métodos. 

  • Sesiones educativas 
    Expertos en derecho electoral y participación cívica, ofrecerán sesiones informativas sobre el proceso de votación, incluyendo cómo registrarse para votar, la importancia de las elecciones locales y la comprensión de la boleta. 

  • Panel de discusión con líderes locales 
    Contaremos con un panel de discusión con líderes locales: funcionarios del gobierno local, líderes comunitarios donde se discutirá el impacto de la votación en el desarrollo de la comunidad y se abordarán las barreras comunes para votar dentro de la comunidad hispana.

Come and participate in the Community Workshops Series on how to Vote and the importance of Voting.

Community workshop is being offered on three different dates. Choose the date that is most convenient to you.

Special presentations by:
June 15- President of the Northwest Hispanic Chamber of Commerce- Ivette Cano  
July 20- State Rep. Anna Moeller  
August 17- Mayor of Elgin - Dave Kaptain  

Activities included in the workshop:

Interactive Voting Demonstrations:

In this workshop we will have facilitators who will provide hands-on demonstrations on how to use voting machines and other methods.

Educational Sessions:

Experts in electoral law and civic engagement will deliver informative sessions on the voting process, including how to register to vote, the significance of local elections, and understanding the ballot. 

- Panel Discussion with Local Leaders:

We will have panel discussion with local leaders: local government officials, community leaders, who will discuss the impact of voting on community development and address common barriers to voting within the Hispanic community.
