We're having a book party & you're invited! Meet scaredy-cat Andres who moves in next door to Desmond Cole, a ghost hunter. We'll read/discuss part of the book and make a spooky craft.

***NOTE:  Please register separately for each child planning to attend this program.***

This program has supplies to be picked up at the KidSpace Youth Reference Desk at the Main Library (270 N. Grove Ave., Elgin). Program supplies will be ready for pick-up between Monday, October 18 through Sunday, October 24th.  All registered participants will receive an email with the zoom login prior to the program date.  

If you would like to pick up the supplies at the Main Library Drive-up Window instead of inside the library at the youth desk, please call the youth desk at 847-429-4685 before you arrive at the library. 

We'll fold an origami ghost for a ghost garland and make a creepy eyeball light. 

Program supplies in the bag:

1 ping pong ball

1 battery-operated tea light

1 piece black yarn

2 pieces 8 1/2" x 8 1/2" white paper

1 "Ghost Garland" page printed on cardstock

Program supplies to gather at home: 

Sharpie/permanent markers (needed to decorate ping pong ball)

Tape

Crayons/markers/colored pencils

Scissors

If you are unable to attend the event, please cancel your registration so a student on the waitlist can join the event.  We will be taking attendance at the programs and staff members reserve the right to move a registrant to the waitlist if they are found to be consistently absent from the Zoom event part of the program.
