Between The World And Me explores history and racism in a collection of deeply personal essays. Join community members for a discussion hosted by Dr. Teresa Lance and moderated by Joyce Fountain.

Ta-Nehisi Coates' 2015 collection of essays, Between The World And Me, is a deeply personal exploration of history and racism. Join fellow community members in a lively discussion hosted by Dr. Teresa Lance, Assistant Superintendent for Equity and Innovation/School District U-46 and facilitated by former ECC sociology instructor Joyce Fountain. Special guests Traci O’Neal Ellis, Chief Equity Officer/IMSA and Toya Webb, Chief Marketing & Communications Officer/ECC offer insights into the issues raised in the book.
