Learn the rich history of Elgin’s beloved musical ensemble, from its beginning as a community orchestra to its current status as an award-winning professional orchestra that builds community with the power of music.

From its beginning as a community orchestra in 1950, through its development as an award-winning professional orchestra known and respected in Illinois and beyond, this wonderful asset has built community through the power of music.

In partnership with the Elgin History Museum.
